JFA Yachts, installé à Concarneau depuis 1993, construit et rénove des yachts de 20 à 60m, voilier ou motor yacht, monocoque ou multicoque. Ce salon dédié aux multicoques est une occasion nouvelle d’aborder ce marché spécifique qui se développe rapidement dans des tailles supérieures à 25m. JFA dispose d’infrastructures adaptées (ponton, moyens de levage et hangars), d’une grande polyvalence mais surtout d’un savoir faire reconnu dans ces tailles de bateaux.
Le premier catamaran construit par JFA mesure 85’ et a été livré en 2004. Ce bateau a réalisé en 4 ans unecircumnavigation très complète de Concarneau jusqu’en Méditerranée en passant par Panama et la Nouvelle Zélande avec de nombreuses escales aux Antilles ou dans les îles du Pacifique.
JFA lancera dans les semaines qui viennent le VPLP 110’. Construit en carbone, ce catamaran exceptionnel est le plus grand catamaran de croisières en composites construit au monde.
JFA termine le refit / mise en route de Mashua Bluu, un catamaran de 95’ construit en aluminium.
Enfin, JFA vient se positionner sur le marché du catamaran semi-custom avec la gamme des « Long Island ».
La construction du premier exemplaire , le Long Island 85, vient de débuter. De par sa taille et son francbord, ce catamaran est conçu pour naviguer loin et dans le plus grand confort. Les coques et le fond de nacelle seront réalisés en aluminium alors que le pont et les superstructures seront en composite.
L’actualité du chantier JFA est donc très marquée « multicoque ».
Le chantier entend s’affirmer comme un acteur incontournable du Superyacht à 2 coques.

The first catamaran built by JFA measures 85′ and was delivered in 2004. In 4 years, this boat has done a very complete circumnavigation from Concarneau to the Mediterranean, via Panama and New Zealand, with lots of stopovers in the Caribbean or the Pacific Islands.
In the coming weeks, JFA will launch the VPLP 110′. Built out of carbon, this exceptional catamaran is the largest cruising catamaran in composite built in the world.
JFA is finishing off the refit / commissioning of Mashua Bluu, a 95′ catamaran out of aluminium.
Lastly, with the « Long Island » range, JFA is positioned on the semi-custom catamaran market. The construction of the 85′ Long Island, first copy of the range, has just begun. By her size and her freeboard, this catamaran is designed to sail far and in the greatest comfort. The hulls and the bottom of the nacelle will be made of aluminum while the deck and superstructures will be made of composite.
Thus, JFA’s current event bears a highly « multihull » mark.
The yard intends to establish itself as a leader of the multihull Superyacht market.
